Structural Engineer

Responsibilities,

• Design structures, such as buildings, Industrial Sheds, bridges, Water Tanks etc.

• Create structural models by using computer-aided design software.

• Apply loads and pressures as per relevant Indian Standard Codes.

• Follow guidelines given by Indian Codes and Specifications.

• Choose appropriate materials based on structural specifications.

• Monitor on-site construction processes and supervise construction workers.

• Prepare Estimations, allocate budgets and report on project progress.

• Collaborate with contractors and project managers.

Requirements,

• Previous experience as a Structural Engineer or similar field.

• Excellent knowledge of construction methods and regulations.

• Hands-on experience with design and drafting software.

• Good communication ability (both written and verbal).

• Degree in Structural Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus.
